Kabayan (Didi Petet) enrolled in a religious boarding school to get close to Iteung
(Nike Ardilla), the schoolmaster’s daughter and only child. In his endeavor, Kabayan
met a young djinni (Sena A. Utoyo) who initially gave him a hard time because of its
frequent pranks, but later befriended and even showed itself to Kabayan. One day,
Mr. Cokro (Moortri Purnomo) came to the boarding school and said that Iteung
should continue her education to an Islamic university at Yogya. The forlorn Kabayan
can do nothing when Iteung left for Yogya. In Yogya, Iteung has to befriend Jerry (Regi
Regustaninda), nephew of Mrs. Cokro (Yetti Syarifah). Meanwhile, Mr. Cokro’s own
son, Budiman (Jef Elva Koswara), told Kabayan that Jerry is a drug addict, prompting
Kabayan to go to Yogya. It turned out that Iteung had been sold to the drugs syndicate,
but Kabayan managed to save her with the help of the young djinni.
